Viennese Horns - Wiener F Horn

Viennese horns are made upon order only, you know the fine "Pumpenhorns", but technically   improved. But we have some instruments in stock mostly. The bell is uncut normally.. The price remains civilized with EURO 4.310.- (incl. crook) - Horn without the crook: € 4.100.-     F-crook (ordered separately):  € 280.-     Hard Case:    € 250.- (new model), slides & sticker for Bb- Horn € 300.- (optional)

Viennese Mouthpieces model Pizka:

Horns are unlacquered now: the resonance of the single F-horns with smaller amount of vibrating mass can be influenced by the lacquer negatively, audible if the sound emission to the side is important in less good acoustical environment.

SPACEFILLER from MAMPCO will reduce the clonk of the valve mechanic if you play some “valve rattles”, but this should not happen in pieces suitable for Viennese Horns anyway. Spacefiller, used for all valve mechanic joints, dampens any noise & prevents wear. SPACEFILLER is also a good lubrificant for the valve slides.

Die Hörner sind nun unlackiert, da wegen der geringeren schwingenden Masse des einfachen F-Horns der Lack die seitliche Klangabstrahlung in einer akustisch ungünstigen Umgebung negativ beeinflussen kann.

SPACEFILLER von MAMPCO reduziert Ventilgeräusche und dient als gutes Schmiermittel für die Ventilzüge. Das Ventilklappern sollte in Stücken für das Wiener Horn sowieso nicht auftreten. SPACEFILLER mindert Geräusche an allen mechanischen Verbindungen. Ausserdem vermindert es Abnützung.
