Mime prepares a bad drink for Siegfried & likes to present it to him, swinging around a cocktail plate with two fancy colored cocktails (dark cherry & Curacao blue) including the one single slice of an orange, two umbrellers & the edge of the cocktail glasses sugar coated. Mime dances with the cocktail plate which is fixed on his hand by a leather band. Mime himself drinks from a Jim Beam bottle quite often. Wotan likes to drink the same light brown stuff from crystal glasses. Interesting might be, that all actors including Forest bird & Erda seem to be alcoholics & either enjoying Whisky or Champagne, but Siegfried drinking just milk from a "NORMA" supermarket tetra pack. (NORMA is a well known chain supermarket). Bruennhilde is a drinker seemingly. May, she drank before and this caused the accident, perhaps.
Now forging begins. An old , red bronze painted American car carcasse with open hood serves as anvil, including real fire. But Siegfried uses a pneumatic hammer (as used for demolition work) to fix his sword Notung. Before that he urinates into an urn. (urn = urinarium). This urinarium is later used to cool the glooming sword during the forging process. Siegfried also fires on the sword with his machine gun. Then, he hammers on the sword using a one meter piece of a steel girder. Notung, the sword, is fixed together, finally. He writes its name to the wall as "Notunk".

Mime mixing drinks Mime mischt Siegfried einen Trunk und tanzt in pinkfarbenen Pumps mit dem Getränketablett in der Hand meisterhaft herum (dunkler Sherry und ein Curacao Cocktail mit Orangescheibe, zwei Papierschirmchen und im Glas mit gezuckertem Rand). Mime selbst säuft ständig aus seiner Jim Beam Flasche, während Wotan stilecht nur aus dem Glas trinkt. Interessant ist es, dass alle Akteure, das Waldvöglein und Erda eingeschlossen, Alkoholiker zu sein scheinen. Nur Siegfried trinkt Milch aus dem Tetrapack vom NORMA Supermarkt. Bruennhilde scheint auch zu saufen. Vielleicht war das der Grund des Unfalles.

Siegfried erhält gerade vom Regieassistenten eine Anweisung, während Mime wartet. Nun beginnt das Schmieden. Der ausrangierte, goldbronzig gespritzte Schlitten mit offener Motorhaube dient als Esse oder Amboss oder beides inklusive echtem Feuer. Siegfried nutzt einen Presslufthammer, um sein Schwert Notung, das er an die Wand als NOTUNK schreibt, wieder zusammen zu schmieden. Vorher uriniert er in ein versautes Urinarium, in das er dann schliesslich das glühende Schwert zur Abkühliung taucht. Er feuert auch mit einer Maschinenpistole auf das Schwert und hämmert es anschliessend mit einem meterlangen Teil eines T-Trägers.
